Sharing a unique perspective of the legal system with students and parents
Moshe Horn knows first-hand what can happen when a young person makes one wrong move. After ten years as a prosecutor and more than a decade as a private practice defense attorney, Moshe brings a sharpened legal and political mind to families confronting challenges in today’s fast-changing world. He has represented students in a spectrum of environments including school disciplinary hearings, universities, and public and private high schools.
Moshe deeply understands the fraught issues facing Gen X, including Ritalin abuse, cyberbullying, vaping and sex crimes. He specializes in defending students and assisting their families in difficult situations, and advises schools and community groups on best approaches to ensure safe parties and proms.
No subject is off limits. By integrating the courtroom and the living room into his speeches and seminars, Moshe Horn prepares students and parents for the reality of a digitally-connected and impulse-driven society. Social media and peer pressure are a toxic brew and without the right tools, good kids can destroy their lives in the blink of an eye.
"I could have listened four more times. You have so much to share, I hope you come back again."
Kathy G., Staff member, The Heschel School
"Your [lecture] was extremely very well received ... 100% of viewers would recommend it to others. You were the only one to get 5 stars. Moreover, it was the highest rated individual course of the entire Bridge the Gap event! You did a phenomenal job."
Continuing Legal Education (CLE) lecture through LawLine.com
"Amazing! Our parents were extremely engaged. Knowing our teenagers are going through so much on a daily basis, that we are aware and unaware of, it was so enlightening to have your expertise on these issues. I hope you will return to our school to speak to our children."
